One of the nice benefit of Seat 1F (first seat in the middle column) is that there is a narrow ledge for misc items such as water bottles, amenity kit, books, ...etc.
The herringbone seat design also includes small side tables for drinks.
The seats are not very wide, just about 20 inches between arm-rests.
I wish that there are individual controls that only move one particular section of the seat, without affecting other sections. I have to keep playing with this control pad for a long time to find a reasonably comfortable reclining position.
By the time I got my seat to a good position, I had to use the lavatory. Instead of moving the seat again, I left it in the position that took me probably ten minutes to find, and just push myself to get up from the slightly reclined position to use the facilities.
The full flat bed is reasonably comfortable, and no need to get up and flip the seat forward to a bed (On designs such as Virgin Atlantic's herringbone layout, the passenger must get up from the seat, and have the cushion flip forward to be convertd to a flat bed.

Designs such as Air Canada's allow the seat to be reclined all the way down to form a bed, which feels much more natural for me.

Luckily, the tray table can be easily swinged out of the way for egress without having to re-adjust the seat.
With the tray fully out of the way, getting in and out of the reclined seat is not too difficult.
A multiple-intensity reading lamp comes in handy without disturbing other passengers.
Noise-cancelling headseat are provided at every Business class seat.
A handy storage area for the headset is near the powerport.
Some of the passengers elected to skip the meal service and take advantage of the flat bed and immediately went to sleep.
